Privacy Policy

The short version: Your personal chats and calls are end-to-end encrypted — we can’t read or listen to them. We collect the minimum needed to run the Service, we don’t sell your data, and you stay in control with privacy settings.

1. Who we are

TalkEx is operated by CoreAxis Ventures (“CoreAxis”, “we”). This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

2. What we collect

Account info — your phone number and/or username, display name and optional bio/photo.
Content metadata — limited information needed to deliver messages and calls (timing, delivery status). The content of personal chats and calls is end-to-end encrypted and not readable by us.
Device & usage — basic technical data (app version, device type, linked-device list) to keep your account secure and working.
Support — anything you send us when you contact support or give feedback.

3. What we do NOT do

We do not read or listen to your end-to-end encrypted chats and calls.
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not show third-party ads inside your private chats.

4. How we use data

To create and secure your account, deliver messages and calls, provide meetings and business features, prevent abuse and spam, and comply with the law.

5. Your controls

Privacy settings — last seen & online, read receipts, hide phone number, and who can call you.
Security — two-step verification, chat lock, and disappearing messages.
Devices — view and remove any linked device at any time.
Blocked list — block or report anyone; manage your list in Settings.
Delete — deactivate or delete your account from Settings → Account.

6. Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run TalkEx (such as hosting and messaging delivery), under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law. We do not sell your data.

7. Data retention

We keep account data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your data, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal obligations.

8. Children

TalkEx is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country).

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
